This one I really like. As I added more stuff to the site my last layout couldn’t handle it. It became too crowded and normal size graphics couldn’t fit so it looked bizarre. Plus the font was way to small for a huge site. It took me a while to make the header, I knew I wanted the colour blue so I tested most of the images from Favole III. Purple and dark blue looked very good together. I didn’t want to use too many brushes because I love the images as they are so I used a pattern from
Spy Glass and a simple yet beautiful brush from
9thaquilo@livejournal. I used tables this time (and I’m not a big fan of tables, way too many codes for my taste) because I wanted more space and tables are easy to change and keeps things in their place. It took me while to code because I did everything by hand and I’m not good at tables codes. I think it turned out great.

This is when this site was supposed to be a fanlisting. I had absolutely no idea what kind of a layout I wanted so I waited almost until the last day (you have 4 weeks to make the fanlisting) to make the layout. During these 4 weeks I was warming up to the idea to make a fansite. All the Victoria Francés websites were in French or Spanish so I was going to do something new. It proved to be harder than what I thought, there was practically no info in English! When I had enough of info I had no inspiration for the layout. I found some great gradients by
77words@livejournal and I played around with several images and this is what I ended up with. Not the greatest manip but it had to do, the site had to go online. I feel safer with div layers and that’s what I coded the site in. All in all, I think it’s an okay layout, not my favourite but it’s not that bad. It’s just that I got bored with it pretty fast.
