Victoria Francés presents an illustrated gothic fantasy. This is a world filled with vampires, magic and the undying spirit of lovers. Enter the dark magic world of Favole. Submerge yourself in the waters of a lethal pond. Or walk the leafy paths of the dark forests. And should you feel the presence of dead spirits and fairies at your side...
Do not lift your gaze... Continue on your path. For beauty and death dances here.
Victoria Francés creates in her first book a gothic romantic fantasy reminiscent of Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles, filled with tales of vampires, magic, and the undying spirit of lovers which reaches across the centuries. Lushly illustrated, Favole: Stone Tears is the first book in an ongoing series by an emerging new talent in the illustration field.
Her name is Favole and she lives his eternity in solitude, she walks under dark river channels and thru thick fog that floods the surface of Venice. Victoria Francés has surprised us with the success of Favole I and continues her story in Favole II: Free Me. Again she focuses on the dark creatures in form of vampires, witches and phantoms. Favole II takes us to dark and beautiful places in search of her lover Ezequiel.
Favole series has harvested a huge success in several countries where Victoria Francés books have been published. The third and last part of the Favole series goes by the title Frozen Light and the author ends the disquieting history by even more beautiful illustrations. Each illustrated photo shows how Victoria submerges to greater heights of her talent and even though this is the last Favole book I’m sure her success has yet to reach its peak.
Victoria Francés presents the conclusion to the young girls searching journey.
A journey through a world of vampires, magic and the undying spirit of lovers.
Enter the dark magic world of Favole one final time.
“There was once an orphaned girl called Neve, she lived in a cabin with her kitten Emma. The story takes place in a snow-covered paradise where the winter never ends and the snowflakes cover the ground each day and create an icy world.”
This is the haunting story of Neve, her little cat Emma, and the Angel Wings.
"During the journey she made herself a dress worthy of the most beautiful cherubs that dwelt in heaven and, with the little feathers crows lost when flying, she made a pair of small angel wings"
"Snow falls sweet as sugar and see smiles of happiness on the blue lips of the dead."
"Two beautiful angels with little crow wings and purple dresses."
Victoria Francés follows the steps of other huge illustrators and publishes her first portfolio. With six illustrations (all colour based on FAVOLE) she perfectly complements the entire book collection.
